How does Flash 2.0 work?

During a Flash 2.0 session, the therapist will ask you to briefly focus on a distressing memory, without discussing it in detail. Then, you return to a pleasant memory and, at the same time, you are asked to blink your eyes. As a result, the brain gradually loses the emotional charge of the troubling memory.
